Samsung knows what's up ????

According to the Wall Street Journal, Samsung is releasing a new edition of its Galaxy Note 10 smartphone, a variant of its flagship product, equipped with a pre-installed cryptocurrency wallet. ????
The product is marketed as a “KlaytnPhone,” named after a blockchain network developed by messaging giant Kakao. The new edition’s hardware specification will not differ from that of the existing Galaxy Note 10's, but will come with blockchain apps and a crypto wallet. Buyers of KlaytnPhones will also obtain a small amount of the Klaytn blockchain’s native crypto, KLAY.
Blockchain apps on the Klaytn network are currently available for non-Samsung phones via Google’s Android system, but only the Klaytn edition phone will be able to support full-scale transactions on the Klaytn network.

Simplifying global trade ????

Mastercard has joined the consortium that seeks to simplify global trade through blockchain technology, Marco Polo. ????
Mastercard’s B2B global trade unit, Mastercard Track, will provide an access point to Marco Polo’s working capital finance platform. According to the World Trade Organization, the Marco Polo platform currently operates within a $1.5 trillion market.
Marco Polo, founded by startups R3 and TradeIX, utilizes R3's Corda blockchain platform and boasts real-time connectivity, greater visibility for trading relationships, and lower barriers to accessing capital.
According to managing director at TradeIX, Daniel Cotti, “the scale and reach of Mastercard will complement and enable the large number of financial service providers who have pioneered the formation of the Marco Polo network over the past couple of years”.

A top Korean entertainment talent agency with a market cap of $600 million, SM Entertainment, is seeking to build its own blockchain network with a native cryptocurrency. ????

Also according to Joo, the entertainment scene currently utilizes inefficient settlement and payment systems, and as such the firm aims to make use of the concepts of both public and private blockchains to help with that and build the network.

Poll of the Day

How much do you agree with this statement: "I believe I am good at identifying crypto scams."
Why or why not? Share with me in the polls! 😆

What you said

"How much do you agree with this statement: "I believe that by 2025, the majority of phone users will be carrying blockchain phones.""

The average vote was 6.4.
"Why or why not?"
I think 2025 is too soon for such high levels (50%+) of mainstream adoption. - A wise man once said to me: "Never say never~". ????

Majority of the mobile users already using payment apps and money transfer apps across the globe. Even before 2025 many countries allow their regulations procrypto to enable their citizens to benefit and not to fall prey to unregulated entities. This will help financial service inclusion of many people. - Agreed!

i do think soon both iOS & android will enable us to sign transactions in blockchain.. also it will be used to improve security of the phone. - Android is already doing it. Apple def has to follow suit! ????

Because we (at least outside the US) have a clever youth! - True. Always bet on the younger gen. ????

Using your phone as a wallet is a great idea.... - Of course. So much more convenient. China is already doing it.

Bitcoin will be almost a common as dollars ????

What is a blockchain phone? A phone with a preinstalled wallet? - Yeah, and some might even be nodes.

They will need it to use crypto in daily life. - It will happen in due time. I am convinced.

Cryptos will need more mass adoption to make that happen. I don't think it will happen that soon - 2025 is quite far away in the crypto scene.

No brainer ...Huobi and Karat are both launching now . Carrying all in one and watching you money grow wherever you are .No roaming charges and the likes .Stuck in a desert, no problem, satellite linked .Great initiatives. - Hahah yeah they are.
