CoinMarketCap Earn: Gain Crypto Through Education

CoinMarketCap has launched CoinMarketCap Earn, a place for crypto enthusiasts to learn more about a cryptoasset while getting crypto rewards for doing so.

CoinMarketCap Earn allows CoinMarketCap users to earn cryptoassets by watching educational videos and completing quizzes about that asset. 

All that you need to begin is a thirst for crypto knowledge and a CoinMarketCap account! 

How to Participate in CoinMarketCap Earn

Step 1: Make an Account and Enter CoinMarketCap Earn

Once you have made your CoinMarketCap account (which you can do here), head over to our new CoinMarketCap Earn product and see what educational campaigns are currently live. 

Each campaign will last for a period of eight days, and each CMC user that successfully completes a quiz about the crypto asset will receive a predetermined amount of that asset — this allows you to not only learn about an asset, but to then interact with it hands on!

Step 2: Pick a Campaign

The first cryptoasset to launch an educational campaign is Band Protocol, a cross-chain data oracle that enables the connection between real-world data and APIs to smart contracts.

Once you have selected a campaign, you will be shown several short videos about that cryptoasset. Make sure to watch them all the way through — they contain important information that will come up in the quiz!

Step 3: Reap the Rewards of Your Newfound Crypto Knowledge

Now that you have learned about a cryptoasset, it’s time to take a small quiz to test your knowledge. You can only take the quiz once, so make sure that you are prepared!

Showcasing the Crypto Revolution

By providing a platform to educate CoinMarketCap users about cryptoassets, CoinMarketCap can increase the breadth of knowledge about the crypto industry — which supports the goal of showcasing the crypto revolution at every step of the way.
