We are hosting our first-ever large-scale conference!
NEW YORK, JULY 18, 2019 – For the first time, our enigmatic founder will take the stage at our first large-scale conference happening on November 12-13 in Singapore at the Marina Bay Sands.
Brandon Chez, the little-known founder of CoinMarketCap, was first brought into the limelight by an attempted doxxing by Wall Street Journal (WSJ). WSJ tried tracking Chez to his apartment in Long Island, but was ultimately unsuccessful in unveiling his identity or capturing a photograph of him.
Sharing the stage with Brandon at the conference will be Sunny King, the equally anonymous and incognito creator of the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. Brandon will be hosting Sunny on a fireside chat of sorts, making this a panel of mysterious, never-before-seen founders. Sunny is the founder of the Peercoin and Primecoin cryptocurrencies, both of which were among the original six cryptocurrencies listed on CoinMarketCap when it went into operation in May 2013.
“We can’t say in what form or manner they will be revealed at the event, but I can assure you that it will be electrifying, exciting and entertaining to be there in person,” said Carylyne Chan, Chief Strategy Officer of CoinMarketCap, “We are thrilled to have Sunny join Brandon on stage, and look forward to surprising and delighting our community attending the event.”
Sunny has now returned with a new consensus algorithm, building off his previous experience developing the widely-adopted PoS mechanism, called Supernode Proof-of-Stake (SPoS), with the company and token V SYSTEMS (VSYS).
The CoinMarketCap Global Conference, the first of its kind held by the company, will feature experiential installations and tactile exhibits centered around the concept of cryptocurrency and blockchain data. Our attendees will be able to interact within a unique conference space and try out interesting cryptocurrency-related technologies! (No more lobbycon, fellows.)
